Job Purpose
Responsible for maintaining in-process quality, reducing rejection and PPM, handling customer complaints, conducting quality audits and driving continuous improvement in plastic injection moulding processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure in-process and final product quality.
- Control and reduce in-house rejection and PPM.
- Conduct First-Off, Patrol and Process Inspections and maintain control charts.
- Ensure production processes follow Control Plan, FMEA, AIS and Standard Manufacturing Procedures.
- Identify process abnormalities and take immediate corrective action.
- Raise and close Non-Conformance / Defect Information Sheets.
- Handle customer complaints and prepare 8D / G8D / QRQC / CAPA reports.
- Conduct Process Audits and Product Audits and ensure closure of audit findings.
- Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Maintenance and other CFT members for quality improvement.
- Implement Poka-Yoke, Kaizen and other continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC and revalidation activities.
- Conduct rejection reviews with management and prepare quality reports.
- Train and improve the skills of quality inspectors and operators.
- Support customer and certification audits, including IATF-related activities.
- Monitor supplier quality issues and coordinate SCAR/corrective actions where required.
