Job Purpose
To manage sales in the assigned territory, achieve sales targets, expand the dealer and distributor network, and increase product visibility and market share.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
Manage existing dealers and distributors and appoint new channel partners.
Expand the distribution network and improve product availability in the market.
Build strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and retailers.
Monitor competitor pricing, schemes, products, and promotional activities.
Conduct regular market visits and identify new business opportunities.
Coordinate with the finance team and distributors to ensure timely payments and manage outstanding dues.
Execute branding and sales promotion activities to improve product awareness.
Collect market feedback and share customer requirements and competitor insights with management.
Maintain sales reports, retail databases, and MIS dashboards.
Monitor team performance, provide guidance and training, and help the team achieve sales targets.
Required Skills and Experience
8–12 years of relevant experience in sales, preferably in the PVC pipes, fittings, building materials, or related industry.
Strong experience in dealer, distributor, and channel sales management.
Good understanding of market mapping, territory development, and competitor analysis.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
Ability to manage a sales team and achieve targets in a competitive market.
Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and sales reporting.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Preferred Candidate: A target-driven sales professional with strong distributor relationships, market development experience, and the ability to expand business across an assigned territory.
